3D Designer Submission deadline: 02/09/2022 Anticipated hiring: Q1 2023 Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30 Location: Harare Desired candidate •Solid 3D model sculpting skills (preferably with Blender). •Competent in CAD design. •Interest in 3D printing, technology and innovation. •Must have a "maker's mindset": someone who is confident in applying research, lateral thinking, and experimentation to come up with solutions to unique problems. •STEAM degree. •Zimbabwean citizen. Responsibilities •Design a wide variety of 3D models for products and equipment including: consumer products, architectural models, tooling, automotive components, and more. •Perform 3D scanning services based on clients’ needs including: operation of 3D scanners, scan data processing, reverse engineering, and part inspection. •Travel to client sites as required performing onsite 3D scanning. •Prepare 3D models for rapid prototyping and 3D rendering/animations. •Prepare quotations for clients.
Advanced Manufacturing Technician Submission deadline: 02/09/2022 Anticipated hiring: Q1 2023 Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30 Location: Harare Desired candidate •Interest in electronics, mechanics and 3D printing. •Comfortable and competent working on high tech machinery. •Must have a "maker's mindset": someone who is confident in applying research, lateral thinking, and experimentation to come up with solutions to unique problems. •Should have some basic experience with CAD software. •Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or any Engineering Degree. •Zimbabwean citizen. Responsibilities •Operating the 3D Productions machines (3D printers, laser cutters and CNC machines) to produce parts for clients and internal projects. •Performing maintenance of 3D Productions machinery. •Assembling 3D Productions 3D printers. •Perform quality inspection on printed parts. Accurately log part imperfections. •Engineering support; assist with development of engineering projects for clients and internal projects.
